How can we help?

A question, a bug, something about billing, or an opinion about what the app told you to do this morning. All of it goes to the same address, and the person who built Distronaut is the person who reads it.

One person answers, usually within a working day. If it has been longer than that, send it again rather than assuming it was ignored.

Answered without writing in

Cancel a subscription

Cancelling is handled by Apple, not by us, so it takes two taps and no email. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Distronaut, then Cancel. Your ledger stays readable on the free tier afterwards.

Open App Store subscriptions

Ask for a refund

Refunds also sit with Apple, because Apple takes the payment. Report the problem on their site with the receipt from your purchase email and they decide. Write to us as well if the reason was something the app did, since that is a bug we want to know about.

Restore a purchase on a new phone

Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it on, open Distronaut, and go to Settings, then Restore purchases. Pro comes back without paying twice. If it does not, send us the email address on your Apple Account and we will sort it.

Get your data out, or removed

Your actions, sessions and ledger live on your device and in your own iCloud backup, so deleting the app removes them. For anything held on our side, write to the address above with "data request" in the subject and say what you want, and it gets done.

Reporting a bug

Four things make a bug fixable on the first reply instead of the fourth: what you tapped, what happened instead of what you expected, your iPhone model and iOS version, and the Distronaut version from the bottom of Settings. A screenshot covers most of it.

Elsewhere

Data requests under GDPR go to the same address. Put "data request" in the subject line and it gets treated as one, which means an answer inside thirty days rather than whenever the inbox allows.

Most questions are already answered.
